Serious question from a very dejected and confused citizen. If 77 million voted for our current tragedy, and 90 million couldn’t be bothered to vote at all (only 70 million voting for normalcy, or decency, or sanity), is “America” worth saving?

Elections haven't always been fair in America.
We've suffered Poll taxes, writing tests, intimidation, misinformation and straight up cheating in multiple elections over the life of our country.

Supreme Court, Inc., votes 6-3 (of course) to allow Texas to use new gerrymandered maps that disenfranchise millions of Democrats and (especially) people of color. Now just watch as they strike down the voter-approved maps in California!!!

Perhaps I am just a tragic pessimist, but and I the only one who expects the Dems to cave, re-open government, and extract nothing in return (no ACA subsidy extension), simply because we can’t bear to see folks suffer? (Major GOP/MAGA advantage - they enjoy others’ suffering)

Supreme Court today says conversion therapy (i.e. torturing kids until they pretend they are not gay or trans) is A-Okay, and states may not ban the practice … the cruelty deepens

In a speech today, Justice Alito actually said, with a straight face, “I am not suggesting that the decision (Obergefell) … should be overruled” when asked about Kim Davis’s pending appeal to SCOTUS (the clerk who defied the law & refused to issue licenses). There is ZERO doubt how Alito will vote.

With the wannabe dictator’s announcement that Rudy Guiliana will get the Presidential Medal of Freedom, he is devaluing the award at least as much as he is the US Currency, America’s Health, our nation’s reputation around the world, and democracy itself (who’s next, Ashley Babbitt?)
