The executive orders and actions of the new admin are intended to cause chaos - and are succeeding. The flip flopping between EO directive and judicial directive has left grant work through the DOE in a state of limbo, with DOE staff being instructed to halt external communications.

In the Northeast I’m not used to these types of droughts. The picture on the left is a quarry near my house in main, water 14” below the high water line. And right picture is exposed mud and grass in a pond that’s usually underwater. #climate #drought #Northeast
