That said, I'm reading/rereading classics and older stories that I've enjoyed over the years. Just am burnt out on a lot of the newer writing, though I have a few tbr books that are promising. I just need some palate cleansing and a little research

I've gone back to reading Amethysts & Alchemy with the hope that it would get better for me or that I could ignore the terrible romance and....yeah I'm having a hard time lol 🙃 I so desperately want to read this book with the MMC just edited out completely lol

So I read the Inheritance by Ilona Andrews yesterday and I still have some of the initial thoughts that I had when I read the online serial -- it has some things that I suspected were going on ( I won't spoil it) but simply because of this detail, I have to keep reading the series.

reading Amethysts &Alchemy right now and I'm having such a hard time with it. it is a super interesting premise - the main character is neurodivergent which may turn you off because this is not explicitly said. you figure out this character doesn't understand social norms by the internal dialogue

Ahh I am trying to read an online serial by some fav authors of mine but it's already just a regurgitation of Solo Leveling for the setup so I'm having a hard time continuing. They also have another story coming out that is an Outlander/isekai thing and I'm sighing with disinterest 🫠

Yaaaay got my package finally today aahhh so much stress 🫠 It looks like it actually passed inspection over ten days ago but they screwed up the labeling afterwards so it didn't get the clearance notification applied properly 💀

So I'm sure most ppl don't really know the stress us small businesses are under if they have anything they import outside the country right now because I didnt even realize how stressed I was about it. I have a package stuck in customs and it's the weirdest customs waiting period ever

I'm trying to get my first international package since the latest tariff shenanigans and it's taking much longer than normal -- which is why I ordered early, just in case. This one is low value but yeah it's going to impact my business costs moving forward.

I've been super quiet because just have a lot going on. I'm having to go through pricing for my business because several of my suppliers are repricing based on all of *waves around* the stuff happening. So excited 💀
