Well, that's Lt Stone's new model syndrome out of the way! His Bladeguard bravely stood in the way of a squad of eightbound and a slaughterbound to protect my captain. Won by a point in the last combat of the last turn!

My first foray into #horusheresy and wow, it's a steep learning curve! I made lots of mistakes with placement, spread, target priority etc, and the dice punished me too (didn't make a single hit with my Venator main gun!)
