𝗝𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗮 is a French composer and our third composer composing for Confluences #2 .
About his new piece Julien shares: “𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝘅𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 attempts to capture the sudden anxiety that sometimes overwhelms us when, immersed in our domestic intimacy, someone knocks at the door unexpectedly.“

𝗜𝗺𝘀𝘂 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗶: South Korean composer, based in Paris is one of three composers writing for Confluences #2.
About her new piece she shares: “𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗮 is a work focused on the timbre. Each instrument explores the boundaries and pushes to go beyond to create a unique sound object, an imaginary sonic space.”

𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 #𝟐 is a concert consisting of new works by @julien-malaussena.bsky.social, Imsu Choi and Michelle Agnes. The three composers explore the possibilities of collective composition in a process and work to blur the boundaries between individual works.
