This art is of an Elite rank insect from my comic. It's called a Magmant. It comes in large numbers and spews lava from it's abdomen. It's often paired with Quake Beetles to create a volcanic eruption effect during raids.

I explored drawing color backgrounds! It definitely looks nice, but working with colored adds a LOT of time, and I felt like I needed MORE detail than I did in grayscale. And it wasn't as fun. Gonna explore more, but so far, not my fav.

I started renderin' my comic and it took six hours to get one panel done because I have almost no practice in environmental art. So I'm gonna start practicin' to improve my skills. This is my first attempt at that, and I learned a LOT.

We should stop asking our children, "What do want to be when you grow up?" and start asking them, "What are you working towards becoming?" That way they stop thinking about their future selves as someone different from themselves, and start thinking of themselves as who they plan to be as adults.

I wanted to see what made up the most important parts of the Hazbin Hotel crew, so I drew a few of them as stick figures. Was honestly really fun seein' what shapes make up the core cast. What do y'all think?
