I don’t always get sermon feedback, but today I got a lot. Mostly positive, but one that was critical. Of course it’s the critical one that lingers in my mind. But you just can’t get 100% ever.

You know, I don’t really care if my church social media presence is lacking if being more engaged with trending topics means the same five people who like all my posts are drowned out by hundreds of hateful comments. I’d rather not subject myself to that.

The roses are popping this year. Had to prune and tie one pretty heavily that had collapsed over the sidewalk, but I’ve always loved our rosebed.
