The mana from Alena is sweet, the sac outlet and big, flingable beater from Dargo is nice, but I'm realizing this is just worse Imskir.
3 or 4 flings and only 2ish repeatable fling engines.
Imskir adds additional reanimation/recursion, addition flings, additional artifacts, and more Yargles

This is where I eneded up last night, and minus the Windswept Heath and Wooded Foothills mixup (which is still funny to me) I'm quite happy with how it started and the progress i made in just two days, 8-ish hours of painting.

IIRC I have to choose a target when Ramirez triggers, so I don't have the ability to explore first off the birb and then pick up whatever I may explore to the bin, right?
Obvs the tech (if that's the case) would be first strike, which is harder in those colors.

Fixed my Windswept Heath, made a proper Wooded Foothills, and absolutely killed it on the District and the Stomping Ground if I do say so myself 😊
The Gruul clan symbol turned out clean as hell, and im really happy with my crystals on ole Stompy G, even though the Ikoria cardstock sucks ass

Fixed my Windswept Heath, made a proper Wooded Foothills, and absolutely killed it on the District and the Stomping Ground if I do say so myself 😊

I liked Finn's idea of reminding people what kinda land you're rocking so I did a fresh Flooded Strand.

Kinda crazy to go from "just getting a feel for these markers" to "okay lets get a little more intricate" in just a handful of hours between last night and this morning.

Couldn't quite color match, even with a mix of other paint markers, and the Azorius lands are tough to do color-wise, so I did my best to spruce this thing up a little bit.
Not as cool as the Blood Crypt from last night but I do like it

Freehanding stuff with these pens is a little rough.
And the light colors are *super* light so filling out the skull is a little rough.
But I'm pretty happy with both of these. I keep trying to do different things and am mostly successful each time so, I'll call that a win 😊
