Thank you all for being so kind to my idea for Taiki Shuttle. ☺️ If I might confess, my primary incentive when doodling this was to finally release my bursting pent-up desire to draw her at all—! I'd been putting her off for too long!

It feels like an existential event whenever I see someone on social media have an art style that I'd thoroughly believed was unique to someone else—especially when it's clear AI isn't involved.

It feels like an existential event whenever I see someone on social media have an art style that I'd thoroughly believed was unique to someone else—especially when it's clear AI isn't involved.
At one point or another, I remember some other artists advising that you should consistently post art to be seen—including WIPs.
However, anytime I've posted WIPs over the past few years, the completed pictures' results have always been underwhelming or even outright awful. 😔

Caring about social media engagement is exhausting. If there's one consistent throughline with my artwork, every picture starts with its own personal goal—unrelated to numbers. So, no matter the engagement, completion feels good!
The art I make—first and foremost—is therapeutic!

Better late than never, am I right? 😜 Last month was nearly dominated by paintings of my FFXIV WoL OC, Meteora Vitalis. I made them all as references, but I'm absolutely elated with the results! I hope to paint her in different job gear later, too!

I know I have a tendency to change my mind on what I feel like painting VERY OFTEN; however, upon meeting the tail end of this recent Umamusume team picture, I'm surprised to acknowledge how steadfast I still feel toward painting yet a fourth one after this one. 😤

My holiday season has, admittedly, been a bit emotionally tumultuous—and I know some of you might be able to sympathize. 🥲 Though, I'm doing my best to finish a couple paintings before the year ends! After all, it's not done until it's over!

I'll be avoiding #Umamusume's PvP events for a while. I really enjoy the game's characters, and sometimes the gameplay is engaging. However, against other people, I'm reminded that I have no control over my destiny; that I might be stupid and fail to understand how I can improve.
