Alan Xu presenting his work on long term graft function and patient survival in kidney donation after circulatory death compared to neurological determination of death donation.

He found similar long term patient and graft survival between groups. DCD donors had higher rates of rejection.

Australia is planning to introduce a new deceased donor kidney allocation system 🐨

Using novel approaches we expect to improve both immune and prognosis matching while also improving equity 🙌
