🧪🌾NEWS - Nitrate affects wood development, not just growth

PhD student Anna Renström showed that nitrate specifically affects wood formation and wood properties - adding some of the missing pieces to a better understanding of how trees respond to nitrogen.🔬

Here is looking at trees🌳 and cultivation of local truffles #Tuber_aestivum on #Gotland recently! Truffle goes very well with oaks and hazel and these was part of research conducted by the expert and senior lecturer Dr. Christina Wedén, Uppsala Univ. (host of visit).
