I like that there is a small shrine in the middle and people will just sit outside a restaurant on the corner, sit on anything they find, and enjoy their drinks and company.

Yesterday I saw Kuidaore Taro the mechanical clown, a beloved symbol located in the Dotonbori district of Osaka, Japan. Today I found the real one in the Namba District. Kuidaore, literally meaning “to eat oneself bankrupt”, is an expression used to describe Osaka people’s obsession with food.
