we can respect what the 90s anime did for media with what the manga did overall despite sexism, but the changes fucked up integral parts of the show & message that make the manga & crystal so powerful & beautiful. enjoy it, but understand the criticisms are important to remember & maintain.

you can still find enjoyment in the DiC sailor moon dub but you shouldn't try to defend it outside of like va performance. seeing people say "it's the best version of sailor moon" unironically in 2024 just tells me you have no respect for the show
