I am very confused with how bad our legal system is, if you defame someone maliciously and even know you are intentionally doing so, you can get away with it if you "believed" it to be true or it was just your opinion. And even cyberbullying is protected under the guise of free speech.

I feel like there is a division between the creatures of different eras like from American Folklore to the fearsome critters of Frontier Tall Tales to the cryptids and UFOs of Urban Legends to the entities of Creepypasta. Does that sound about right?

Almost all stories involving Greek myths always make Cronus the villain evil King of the Titans, I would just once like to see him represented as Father Titan (as he is the titan of time conflated with the god Chronus).

Taking my old panels I been coming up with the "Flawed Franchise Theory" think I will debut it at my next narrative art panel. I been thinking how Harry Potter as a franchise still has such a hold over culture even when it has many complaints, perhaps these flaws that made it appeal to the masses.

So tiring and sad how misinformation spreads online and in echo chambers, even looking at this in small fandoms, seeing how easily it takes root makes me scared how much in every day life disinformation and propaganda is ruining our perception of reality.

Some FurPoc board members came up to me to check if I got my packages, then told me they are happy I'm here, that they see me at cons ten times the size and like seeing me at their smaller event. Now that it's been harder for me to get into cons it's nice to hear words like that from con staff.

Finally tracked down my packages but it was too late to change my set up but big thanks to the con staff and other dealers for lending me grids and shelves. I'm table A9 in the Dealers Den at @furpocalypse.org make sure to check out my Werewolf/Animal TF panel at 5pm tonight. Happy Halloween!

This must not be my year, after customs destroyed my $5000 order of shirts the 3rd attempted remakes are now held again at customs. The hotel apparently gave away my packages with my flags and grids to someone else so I'm trying to set up best I can without half my stuff.

Hunting for a new place and one rental is right by Old Town, a fake Main Street dead tourist trap of shops and run-down Fun Spot amusement park rides. But a fake Main Street is still a walkable Main Street, and since there's few tourist means if I moved here it's a private Main Street just for me.

Second psychiatry session, doctor doesn't think I am in a strong need for any medication, that a lot of my issues seem to be I am very self critical of myself which might have some connection to my past. He realizes he is expensive so saying I should look for other cheaper options as well.

Annoyed, roommate keeps asking why I am scared to talk to him and my problem is, I apologize told him I am dealing with burn out, depression, and finally got my first appointment with a psychiatrist to get help. He chose to ignore this. Later tells me I am looking for sympathy and he won't give it.

I did my first psychiatrist session last week but didn't get any advice or diagnosis yet. I been resting up and taking it easy but seems like my batteries can only charge 30% and not all the way. Very long term burn out, hard to just get back to 100%.

Just remembered how these children books gave me nightmares as a kid, I am still too afraid to look through them in case they trigger some scary memories.

I am honored to be announced as a Guest of Honor Capricon, the long running science fiction convention held in Chicagoland. In my over decade long career as a convention vendor, artist, staffer, panelist, and community guest, this is the first time I have been asked to be a Guest of Honor proper.
