When my e-reader tells me how long it will take me to finish a book, it makes me feel competitive in the same way as racing my own ghost in Mario Kart did as a child. I know it's based on my previous experiences, and I'm unlikely to have changed, but I'm obviously better than myself now, dammit.

Being in the #qjj fandom is great because so many people think a ton of the things we say are fanon, but no, that's all T97. She did that, canonically.

He is traumatized. He was one of the only survivors from a massacre of 30k+(?), some of whom were his family, AND he was blamed for it. He is disconnected from every decision he has to make to survive (at first).
