Just remembering how amazing UX and design were in the Soviet Union
I think a lot about how the principles of design and UX are fundamentally incompatible with capitalism; at a certain point, they have opposing priorities.
That means if you're in the field, your company is paying you to care about something it will never care about. And that's a recipe for burnout.

I've been tinkering with this for a day, and I must say that claims about being able to animate something decent using pure CSS are significantly exaggerated.

Had my first tennis tournament today. Thankfully, at this amateur level sets start from 2-2, so there were no bitter 0-6 defeats.

I was so biased against Vercel that I completely missed their ai-sdk, which seems to be perfect. I needed a Node library to call different LLMs with a unified API and couldn't understand why there was no viable solution for that.
