When I first got sober I heard the phrase - do the next right thing. But many choices are not right or wrong and my crazy brain will paralyze itself trying to figure it out. I like this phrase better.

I know that when these 4 drive my decision-making, I can not find peace. Through a personal faith and the support of others, I can find relief and make decisions that result in more "happy, joyous, and free" days.

It's not an accusation but an honest question. One I have to ask myself. Am I phoning it in? For me, I must stay accountable to the principles if I want to stay sober and have a happy, joyous, and free life!
