Great to see that research is being undertaken in this area, as it is key to ensuring that schools benefit from the expertise and talent of older female school leaders.

Dug this fantastic artwork out today, for a session with some initial teacher trainees on Severe and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties. Always a privilege to work with her legacy, and reflect on how there are more similarities between children and young people, than there are differences.

In this blog, I analyse an episode of the school-based comedy TV show, from the ABC television network, ‘Abbott Elementary’, applying the ideas of the philosopher John Rawls. I had so much fun writing this! @npr.org @quintabrunson.bsky.social www.leedsbeckett.ac.uk/blogs/carneg...

This week I returned to Oxford Road, Manchester (the street where I was born!) for the 2024 BERA Conf. It's been an inspiring few days of learning, networking, and establishing next steps for developing myself, and the field I research in. Also got to present my paper on 'Topographical Teaching'!

Gearing up to get up very early on a Sunday, to head straight to this year's British Educational Research Association conference, where I will be attending a workshop on publication. Also looking forward to catching up with Leeds Beckett colleagues and presenting my paper on Wednesday
