PSA to Jays fans: for what it's worth, Los Angelinos in general also loathe Trump's america

Context that was missing. Since 1980, both the mean and median ages of all Americans in general has increased about 8yrs, that explains about a third of the change in average homebuyer age.

United App, trying to pretend everything fine:

Your flight is delayed,
boarding now begins 10:48am, ends 10:58am

Same United app: Your plane is coming from ORD, arriving 10:59am

Love the optimism. Not only want me believe a whole plane can board in 10min BUT ALSO full 60sec before plane exists

Am I the only one that finds Google Drive to be absolutely unnavigable and where important team files go to never be seen or found again?

It's funny, I keep hearing announcements for it over the airport PA system, but I always thought Aer Lingus was one those things you're not supposed to do?

The girls aren't actually fighting. It's just Act 3 of the coup, where Tiel and Musk rug-pull Trump to get their sock-puppet JD installed.

Gotta celebrate the small wins. Today I remembered to shut the patio doors *just* before the roomba attempted to embark on an epic safari adventure.

I have a friend who designs aesthetic little built-in ledges for your shower. It's a pretty niche industry.

Dang. Air Canada now flying out of D gates (at the opposite end) of SFO is really messing with my brain.

This is a funny thing to say given global silicon supply capacity is already maxed in the near to medium term. More spend would just consist of buyers competing to outbid each other to pad Nvidia's profit margins even further, for the same number of GPUs in the world.

PSA: AppleCare+ for Macs is really good. My 2022 era MBP had one speaker die. Still (barely) under the 3yr coverage. Took it in to apple store on Tues. By thurs afternoon, Fed Ex had it back on my doormat, fully fixed and looking shiny as new.

"These are the days that Joe Strummer trained us for."

Today is the International Day of the Clash.

And it's never been more important.

KEXP leading *incredible* day of Clash and inspired music all day and you need to tune in. The outpouring of support they are getting is such a ray of hope.

I'm glad that America is doing real classic end of empire stuff. A king who is visibly losing his mind declaring a war based on a dream he had. Greedy courtiers feuding over access to the treasury. Some looks are timeless.

Completely unable to use 'sign in with google' on Firefox, across multiple machines/OSes, and multiple web apps.

The sign-in request just hangs and never completes. Yet the same accounts work fine in chrome.

Any other #firefox users getting this recently? Or am I special?
