Many genres (not just news/politics) are by their very definition designed to activate negative emotions, often in the name of ‘camaraderie.‘ They simply have to fulfill their nature. I personally find this helpful to keep in mind.

This would be cool, and is probably a good exercise for almost any setter, especially if each clue change also requires a change in device.
Puzzle idea: crossword themed on the Ship of Theseus* but I change one clue every day until nothing remains of the original 😆
