Nosferatu was a fantastic film all around. The acting, the cinematography, the set design, the costume design, the effects all amazing. Eggers is probably one of the best directors working today, can’t wait to see what he does next

Just watched Lady Snowblood for the the first time ever, wow, really understand what Tarantino was doing with Kill Bill now. What a great revenge film.

Watched the Asphyx (1972) the other night. For a sci-fi/horror Frankenstein rip off from the 70s, it was pretty good. Definitely had some interesting ideas but the execution left something to be desired. 6/10

WB is releasing Barbie to hurt Oppenheimers BO to punish Nolan for not using WB for distribution and you’ll never convince me otherwise. Barbie coming out a week or two later would have benefited both films

Guardians 3 was everything I could have hoped for and more. Gunn and crew nailed the final film of the trilogy. Best marvel film since infinity war and probably the last MCU film I’ll see for a while

Saw Beau is afraid last week, the further I get away from the screening the more I like it. My immediate reaction was that it was good but too long, the more I think about the more that opinion changes. It’s an interesting film but I understand why some don’t like it

I really think there were tons of horror films in the 80s that deserve a prominent place in our cultural lexicon that are slept on. My Bloody Valentine is a better movie than Friday the 13th
