I ate my lunch alongside two slices od pizza provided my work. I have to have a dinky meal shake for dinner, but I'm allowed to make a stupid choice today. The 2nd anniversary of when I became truly free.

Today is the 2nd year anniversary I was officially no longer my parent's caretaker. The past nearly 7.5 years were full of stress, heartbreak, and trauma and it's no wonder I emotionally shut down for certain periods of time.

for the past 7.5 years, i was on fight or flight survival mode, fighting to not let my artistic passion be extinguished. my will, that fire to create is still there. the fuel was spent, and i need to find better kindling.

tomorrow will be the 2nd year anniversary of when my parent finally accepted they needed to be moved to a facility in the wake of me moving out.
I remember that night, and being too scared to even eat until after hearing the answer. Going to the chapel in the facility and thanking god afterwards.
