I find it funny how both the Yugioh anime and manga had different outcomes to what happened to Kaiba at the end. Anime Kaiba accepted that Yugi was the king of games, and moved on, where he seems to be doing well for himself in GX. Manga Kaiba wanted the salty runback with Atem in DSOD.

I feel like it does, mainly because it's the closest we'll get to a classic sonic game in 3D, and I think with the team based gameplay, heroes does it quite well, awkward and slippery controls aside.

I don't really share that same sentiment, especially since I'm more or less judging a game for what it is rather than its impact. I saw Heroes as a fun, upbeat game that had unique gameplay that Sonic Team never returned to, and as a big fan of the classic games, Heroes does scratch that itch for me

Agree to disagree. Heroes was definitely a lot more light hearted compared to the adventure games, but I wouldn't say it was bad story wise. It was simple, and did its job fine as a plot. Also Neo Metal Sonic is peak.
