We are reaching the tipping point with continued measles outbreaks throughout the U.S. If they continue (bad news: under this administration, that's nearly guaranteed), we are at risk of losing our elimination status. What that means in the info-graphic, below.

BREAKING: The Texas House just voted to expand the state’s extreme abortion ban by criminalizing anyone who makes, prescribes, or transports abortion medication — even out-of-state.

Thank you @maddow.msnbc.com for helping bring attention to this.

We need to call the shooting at CDC what it is - an act of domestic terrorism, stoked by antivax rhetoric.

We are beyond enraged at RFKJ's "leadership" and that the President still hasn't even acknowledged the attack.
"Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr, who oversees the CDC, did not make a statement the day of the shooting.

Late the following morning, more than 30 minutes after posting photos of fishing with his family, Kennedy posted condolences on his official X account..."

Medicaid, the largest payer for long-term care facilities, covers around 2 in 3 nursing home residents, and reducing dollars to the massive, yet already resource-limited, program could have disastrous effects on older adults’ health, safety and quality of life.
What Republicans' possible Medicaid cuts could mean for nursing homes
Experts told PBS News that there are ways to ensure older adults get the quality and type of care they need, but most require more resources, not less.
