Love all things horology, books, movies, history. Play golf badly, poker ok, and partial to a good glass of red.

In no particular order the best Fantasy Authors are David Gemmell, Steven Erikson, Tolkien, Martin, Abercrombie, and Mark Lawrence. Honorable mention to Tad Williams.

This magazine picture from 1966 was posted in a wargaming group I follow. Of particular interest is the gentleman at the back leaning over the table. That is Dave Arnesen, co-creator of Dungeons & Dragons.

Just another damp, wintery morning here in Ireland. But on the bright side it is my last day of work for a week. So it really is a Happy Friday for me. Wish you all a good day and a great weekend ahead.

Reading The Trouble With Peace by Joe Abercrombie at the moment. Really good 2nd one in the series. Orso is still my favorite character.
