Job search update: 4 months unemployed. 22 applications, 17 rejections. Zero calls/interviews. But there’s a lot of people looking right now, especially after the Netflix and Amazon layoffs. Luckily, picked up some freelance work 1.5 months ago, so better than unemployment, but just temporary.

Almost 3 weeks of looking for work. 10 apps, 7 rejections (a lot of "role already filled"). Seems like a lot of candidates were already going through the process before I even applied - because nothing about hiring in this industry moves quickly. Reminder that sometimes it just comes down to timing.

Just finished binging the first season of Silo over the last 3 or 4 days. Much better than I was expecting and hesitant to start S2 and having to wait a week between episodes.

I haven't used Maya in over a year (been using MoBu), but I decided to keep it updated..., just in case I feel inspired to start a side project.
And yes, I know 2025 is out (I can't believe I'm so far behind). I'll probably install that next.

Upgrade from my old Razer Blackwidow keyboard. Went with Keychron Q6 Max and GamaKay Pegasus silent switches. Feels great to type on and sooo quiet. Just waiting on new keycaps.
