Who really owns New York’s buildings?

For too long, anonymous LLCs have hidden landlords and fueled corruption. Two bills A8662/S8432 and A1506/S119 pull back the curtain to bring sunlight, accountability, and fairness back to our housing market. #StateOfYes

The election that will decide NYC’s future is tomorrow!

I kicked off my day crossing the Brooklyn Bridge with @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social

It is up to each and every one of us to get everyone they know out to vote.

The only way we deliver on the affordability agenda is by fighting for it

Rep Dan Goldman is 100% correct in calling on the NYPD to enforce our laws and protect New Yorkers. If ICE or any federal agent violates the law they must be held accountable.

That’s why I introduced the MELT Act here in NY, to ensure no law enforcement hides from justice

Michael McKee was a master organizer and strategist in the tenants right movement who led so many hard won fights over decades.

He was also a beloved Chelsea resident and dear friend to so many of us.

I will miss his guidance, his leadership and his friendship greatly.

Power must always be visible and accountable. Former LAPD Deputy Chief Stephen Downing powerfully makes that case in his LA Times op-ed, and why laws like the MELT Act are so important to protect civil rights and public trust. OpEd linked in bio #MELTAct

We gathered outside 26 Federal Plaza today demanding accountability for Trump’s secret police. If federal agents break our laws, NYPD must enforce them. No badge should be a shield! My MELT Act sends the same message: no one is above the law. #ProtectNYers #MELTAct
