Deze doodstil zittende zandhaas in het uiterste noorden van Namibië vertrouwde helemaal op zijn schutkleuren toen we naast hem stopten. Kleiner dan onze haas, maar pijlsnel als hij moet vluchten.

This dead still sitting sand hare in the far north of Namibia relied entirely on his camouflage colors when we stopped next to him. Smaller than our hare, but very fast when he has to flee.

Het was er goed donker. In de ondergrondse doorgang van de twee kastelen in Zabola (Roemenië) vlogen vleermuizen. Nauwelijks te zien. Op goed geluk maakte ik wat foto's. Dit was de enige die goed scherp was.

It was quite dark. Bats were flying through the underground passage of the two castles in Zabola, Romania. Barely visible. I took a few photos at random with my iPhone. This was the only one that was in good focus!
