@mrjamesob.bsky.social Army cadets..aaagh..terrible memories. I refused to attend and part of my supposed humiliation was to be put with the turds as 3rd formers were known.. I would take over the prefects study opposite the parade ground and blast out Hendrix . I still was the best shot in school

@mrjamesob.bsky.social I was a youth club leader in South Wales for several years. I can attest to the positive influence that environment had on the not just the youths but also on the small town it was in. A safe space everyone benefits from. We were open 3 evenings a week sports,outings etc.
