The silver lining (?) of having a cold is that I've spent hours reading. Got this thought provoking book finished; the book everyone should read. Definitely food for thought; I'm going to do as it says and buy less but better and as much UK made as is possible.

R.I.P. And let's not forget his also excellent performance in Falling Down.

Remembering that time that Miles Davis brought flowers to Laura Nyro at one of her concerts and also stopped by a recording session to possibly play but after listening, declared, “this is perfect, it doesn’t need me!”

As it's Valentine's weekend, one of the great love songs - and one sadly not many people know. Do your good thing Blue Sky!
How on earth was this not a single? Bloody major record labels!

Reading about people buried in Belfast Cemetery and a woman called Fanny Craig who seems to have been buried in 1887 using her maiden name despite being married and her husband inscribing her headstone with love, because her husband's surname was Hair.

What an album. I'm in the minority who think there are greater songs on here than The Killing Moon, Thorn of Crowns, My Kingdom and Silver being examples.

Look what my nice postman delivered today 😊. The price has finally dropped (a bit!) online.
A lot of a Barrowlands gig Knife era 👌.

Delighted to say that the 'anti-immigration' march I have just seen in Cheltenham attracted a huge total of 8 people.

My girlfriend and I saw this last night at the cinema, we both thought it was really good and original. Super acting too.

@mickpuck.bsky.social Hi Mike, why are you playing the soulless, corporate O2 arena? Seems a bit mercenary..

Excellent effort by Mojo making this CD look like a Smiths 7"!
Wonderful issue too and cd, the Alan Sparrowhawk song is new to me and really good.
Sad to read Johnny Marr was so tight with money regarding the Smiths rhythm section.

One minute you’re watching a band and the lead singer/guitarist seems really cool and the next minute you’re his fiancée and you’re sitting in the living room of the house you bought together and he’s playing the theme tune of Animal Hospital to you on his Stratocaster. Life is wild.
