We wanted to spend the day in the mountains of Kefalonia (Greece), but Mount Ainos was covered in clouds in the morning. So we went to look for a secret beach instead.
Later we decided to try the mountains again. And we were rewarded with a very unexpected company 😊

On our second day in Kefalonia, we went to Myrtos Beach - the island’s most famous spot, with turquoise water and steep white cliffs. We also visited the little seaside village of Assos, full of colourful houses, quiet corners and a fortress on the hill above.

When we came back home, the garden looked like a catastrophe. Half of the plants were frozen, leaves turned black, and everything seemed lost. In spite of that, we spent the day harvesting. There are still many goodies that don't mind the cold.

The harvest season ended sooner than we expected, sadly. Cold weather arrived early, and we had to pick our pumpkins before the frost. Before that, we also went mushroom foraging one last time and found an amazing surprise.
