Just finished listening to the audio version of this book, and it is delightful. Yes, it's an ode to letter writing and its various components and accoutrements -- fountain pens, stamps, envelopes, postcards, typewriters, paper, wax seals, and so on -- but it's also so much more. Highly recommended.

Just finished listening to the audio version of this book, and it is delightful. Over the last three days, I have learned that dropping off your second child at college is just as exhilarating, excruciating, exciting, and stone-cold heartbreaking as dropping off your first child. Big hugs to all family members going through it themselves this August.
