Don't want to do the type of analysis where you watch/play something and then "see" it in the next thing whether it is there or not, but played the Sea of Stars demo on recommendation and it just kind of feels like a YA version of older stuff--particularly Popolocrois as they share a similar

3. Far East of Eden Ziria (TGCD)
4. Popolocrois 2 (PSX, #2 but savestate fried)

Just started this one; a Japanese Redditor compared it to the Mother series and I have to agree; degree of critique of modern Japan but like the Nintendo series is not particularly sentimental like Tengai Makyo (so far) no head space to read novels on dad patrol
