Seriously, y'all, what is wrong with the Knicks that last couple of weeks? Before this stretch even their losses were competitive. Now it's like they never played together. Starting to remind me of last year's Mets.

Watching Rain Man again. I should've noticed years ago that Raymond and Charlie are betting way beyond the table limit for 1988 outside of a high roller room ... unless we assume they got pit boss approval. Which would have to assume they didn't.

NYE is one of those nights when I find aging liberating. As a young man, I would've felt sorry for myself if I didn't have a date or a party to go to. Now the idea of being out among the drunks and amateurs is repulsive. No guilt, no FOMO. Just a glass of rye and a Twilight Zone marathon.
