Lindemann, Malínek, Tolonen #dh2025

Thanks everyone at our panel at #dh2025 & especially the organizers!
@tolonen.bsky.social at open language data panel at #DH2025: researchers have to prioritize the research questions. Scalability, expressed as interoperability, standards, data sharing are infrastructure tasks. Data publications, data releases should not be byproducts but actual outputs.

Strong representation of CASCADE and MECANO at #DH2025. Both of our Marie Curie Training Networks have a paper in the same session by early career researchers! Well done! www.conftool.pro/dh2025/index...

Representing #bibliodata at #dh2025!

People waiting to get to the room for the keynote at #dh2025! It is quite hot in here.

The #DH2025 in Lisbon is on. Full room at the FAIR data in the Wikibase Ecosystem -workshop from early in the morning. Let’s have a productive week everyone!

yes, tough times indeed.

also lot of green and the area is beautiful and the weather was extremely pleasant (as always in Scotland imo)

First thought was the book "History Man" (although based elsewhere & I get the same thought in most UK campuses). I was also thinking how will the humanities fare there in the long term.

Being based in Finland sometimes means going to where others are. My grand tour 2025: MECANO in Rome; DARIAH in Göttingen; ECSS in Stirling; cancelled Morrissey gig in Stockholm; CERL in Brussels & InkCode DH2 in San Miniato. To come: DH2025 in Lisbon next week & CASCADE in Helsinki in late August.

Tranströmerbiblioteket - public library in Stockholm

Speedway no more. I guess there's worse things in life than cancelled Morrissey gig in Stockholm.

punctuation matters, well never mind

My #Dariah2025 cut short but you still have many great DARIAH-FI peeps to talk to in Göttingen! On my way now to ECSSS in Stirling. Despite of German trains likely to make our panel tomorrow at 9am on "The Clarendon Edition of Hume’s History of England". Not possible to do everything? See you!

We bring news from The Past at #DARIAH2025 in Göttingen with representatives from dariah.fi (and
@tolonen.bsky.social )... In a surrounding that sweats academic heritage, and home to figures such as Koch, Gauss, Heisenberg and Oppenheimer. Look for them in city walls, look for us to chat!
