Nuremberg - This movie seems to be reluctantly shown in theaters even though it is pertinent to our nations psyche. I’m sure this is right wing pressure in action.

Listening to NPR and someone interviewed a Marine who had been at Iwo Jima and when the interview was over she said “Thank you for your service” but his answer really hit me. He replied “Thank for for your freedom” is the proper reply. I hope to God that still holds after this admin is gone.

I couldn’t find anything about regulations or statutes about holding procedures or accommodations. So, ICE doesn’t give a damn about how they hold people by law and they’re under DHS whose site is political advert. There needs to be laws applied against these intolerable bastards. Why ICE & CBP?

I’m afraid we’re a patriarchal society and doubtful that will ever change. I agree with you about Schumer he needed to retire long ago. Jasmine or AOC should have taken over. We really need someone who’s passionate about our democracy.

If you want to help the bottom of the income population then make credit cards the same way they were decades ago - 2% above prime rate instead of the usury 24-28% today.

@sanders.senate.gov I just watched you on Jon Stewart. I think that you should push for the lowering of interest rates on credit cards. I’m 77 and remember when CC’s charged 2% above prime rate. People working at low wage jobs use CC’s extensively and are losing large amounts because of usury fees.

I just watched “Famous Last words of Dr Jane Goodall”. It was extremely moving. In her talk she said that she wished that Musk, Trump, Putin , Netanyahu and Xi would take a rocket and travel out of this world. I always knew she was a brilliant woman!

If you add the CC fees that most poor people pay (over 20%) and look at the Prime Rate (7.5%) you’ll understand why people with low incomes keep lowering their standard of living as they pay usury fees.
