Maybe it’s just me, but I hate it when someone assembles their “hated characters,” and it’s just a bunch of characters who were **intentionally** written to be hated instead of ones that are genuinely poorly written. Like, my most hated characters are those who I think are terribly written.

Though there was a lot of bad faith criticism surrounding the Acolyte, I still don’t buy the conspiracy theory that the hate and overwhelming backlash is what got the show axed. Series proved not to be too lucrative and had an over-inflated budget.
