Glad to share this research with the world. We must learn what went wrong during the COVID-19 pandemic and plan for how we can do better next time a disruptive event strikes our society and health systems.

Individuals diagnosed with cancer in 2020 and 2021 had lower 1-year survival than before the pandemic, with greatest impact seen in older adults and non-Hispanic minority groups.
