Before break, I set a goal to get issue 7 "roughed out." This means getting panels laid down and most of the script with some VERY rough breakdowns or models standing in for future drawings. This is the final page I needed to rough out.

What the blue hell is a "prompt engineer?" Does someone seriously think that telling "Hal" what to make is somehow creative? Why would I buy ANYTHING made by AI when I can tell AI to make shit for me for nothing? Someone will literally claim they are better at talking to the magic box than you. Ok.

The dreaded two-page spread. Ugh. At this point, it's a running gag where I try to avoid doing a two-page spread, and one inevitably rears its ugly head. This one is VERY preliminary, but it's the basic shape of it. Nightstik #7 coming...well...down the road a bit.

Tubi has Thundarr the Barbarian, so I’m watching my way through loving all the Alex Toth/Jack Kirby stuff and in the middle of an episode featuring werewolves, the antagonist is “Lord Zevon.” That flew right over my head back in ‘80.

I don’t tear through books like I do in the summer, but I often have two or three books going. Here’s what I have right now: What We Can know, is good, but it’s a slow read. I often have to re-read stuff. I like to balance my reading with serious, fun, and practical.
