Something about "A special deal, only for you" when it happens to be during Black Friday, and every household gets the same spiel really tells me how fucking impersonal and soulless this whole marketing and sales push really is.
I get it, people love Xmas, but I could do without all of that.

I'll start:
Rogue (1980) - Using randomly generated maps, and a "one life" dungeon crawler. Paving the way for games like Diablo, Darkest Dungeon, and Hades.
