Are fired federal employees or contractors subject to WARN laws?

Trump has just required federal employees to remove pronouns from email signatures. Academic writing frequently avoids the use of pronouns entirely. If people are going to be jerks about pronouns perhaps other people might stop using pronouns altogether until behavior improves.
