Wouldn’t it be great to say something wise? Something that overshadows decades of awkwardness and any trauma left in my wake

Today’s bullshit revisionist gaslighting about the Trump-led Jan 6th attack on our nation are too much for me.

Even though it’s looking like the eve of WWIII, I’m signing off of current events and politics for a few days.

If Trump is really stealing spending power from Congress then it would be insanity for Democrats to vote to fund the government later this month. Shut it down until the president stops wiping his ass with the Constitution.

The American people electing Trump after he staged a coup attempt 5 years ago was a nail in the coffin of our democracy. You can rationalize it all you want - But inflation! But wokeness! - but ultimately it was a societal suicide attempt and probably the dumbest collective voting decision ever made

If the sole purpose of the attack was to arrest the Maduros, we’d be done. The warrants have been executed. The Maduros are now in NY facing trial. There would be no cause for any further U.S. involvement in Venezuela’s affairs, let alone threats of further military force. 11/20

The Biden admin proposed a rule to cap overdraft fees at $5.

The Trump admin overturned it.

Last year, the 20 biggest US banks made almost $3 billion in overdraft fees.

Trump is making life more expensive for working people.

Just checking in again to remind everyone that January 6 is the day 77 million people watched a violent attempted coup and said, “Yes. That. That’s what I’m voting for.” And look at us now.

😢
January 6th was a success, we just thought we thwarted the overthrowing of the US government. It just took 5 years to come to fruition and today there's a parade to celebrate it.

January 6, 2021 was the most shameful day in American history. It should live in infamy. We will never forget it, and we will not let the nation or the world forget — despite the revisionism of Trump and his lackeys in the Republican Party.

Tbh, I am oddly uncomfortable doing still life photos. If anything I prefer the improv free of street photography. But, I guess it’s nice to control the light and angle

So Trump told the press he was going to invade Venezuela, and he told the oil companies he was going to invade Venezuela, but he never bothered to ask CONGRESS if he COULD invade Venezuela.

And congressional Republicans are just like… “meh”.

Are you fucking kidding me?!!

I would encourage the Sec of State to listen to what his President said yesterday the Secretary stood literally right fucking next to him

Can we stop inviting liars to lie, please ?
STEPHANOPOULOS: Why wasn't congressional authorization necessary?

RUBIO: It wasn't necessary because this was not an invasion. We didn't occupy a country. This was an arrest operation.

Don’t be fooled: you can’t both claim this was simply the execution of an arrest warrant AND say the U.S. is now "running" Venezuela & grabbing its oil resources.

Trump just admitted this was a clear regime-change play to enrich U.S. oil companies & his billionaire buddies.
Trump and his cronies can try to dress this up, but it is an illegal act of war to replace Maduro and grab Venezuela's oil for his billionaire buddies.
