Given what I’ve been seeing lately, I am glad I do not subscribe to the NYT or WaPost. They are unrecognizable compared to their former selves. The country needs better.

One of the core responsibilities of journalism is to explain to the public who in government has the authority to do what and call out when those authorities are abused. When they fail to do so, democracy is weakened and journalism is cheapened. #localnews #msm

I have a lot of issues with local and mainstream media, one of the primary ones is they don’t appear able to think. There are 114 recognized neighborhoods in L.A.’s 469 square miles and on only one corner of one neighborhood are there protests.
