I'm sure someone will watch CBS tomorrow at 8 pm so I don't have to, but if you do and post about it, just be aware I won't look at that either.

Proof why you need to choose your bots wisely and the critical importance of learning how to prompt and set truth standards for all conversations in advance.
(🧵) Just had one of the most upsetting experiences I’ve ever had with AI. As a test, I asked Grok to provide me with 200 statements about “Seth Abramson” that met two criteria: they are (a) true, (b) critical. What Grok returned was the most bizarre series of fabulations I have ever seen. Thus this:

Maybe it’s because I live on the West Coast, but I can count on one hand the people I know around here that read the @nytimes.com or the @washingtonpost.com at all.

I've been telling people in the #MSM and government for over a decade that @cato.org has the two best immigration policy analysts (and sources) in the business: Alex Nowrasteh and David Bier. They'll make you smarter. www.cato.org/legal-briefs...
RAICES v. Noem
The government’s assertions are based on either misinterpretations or tortured readings of the data, attempting to find justification for a spurious legal argument in facts that simply are not there.

News should never be "partisan." It should be factual. This is what happens when people conflate 'opinion' with 'news.' www.thewrap.com/david-elliso...

“Opinion” columns and shows tell you what the writer or speakers think. These days they are intended to sway opinions or get “likes.”

News, as in journalism done properly, is intended to provide facts and context so you can form your own opinion.

Know the difference.

Given what I’ve been seeing lately, I am glad I do not subscribe to the NYT or WaPost. They are unrecognizable compared to their former selves. The country needs better.

If “safety is the enemy of progress,” let him go first.
It's full steam ahead for NASA, according to Sean Duffy, the agency's acting administrator. During an internal employee town hall, Duffy warned of "letting safety be the enemy of progress" when it comes to winning the space race, according to a recording obtained by NBC News.

#MSNOW name change pitch meeting:

Marketing guy: "Let's keep the initials of a company that hasn't been involved for 20 years and make it sound like it's all breaking news?

Management: "Love it!"

Rational staffer: 'You don't think it'll be trolled as "#MSNot?"

Management: "Create a bad logo!"

“If the Administration’s policies are so popular, why must they redraw district maps? Shouldn’t the voters reward them during the midterms?” asked no #MSM reporter.

Facts, like those mentioned in this article, are known to everyone except, apparently, members of the White House and Capitol Hill press corps who could use them to challenge elected officials and policymakers. The #MSM continues to fail the public by failing to do their job.

One of the core responsibilities of journalism is to explain to the public who in government has the authority to do what and call out when those authorities are abused. When they fail to do so, democracy is weakened and journalism is cheapened. #localnews #msm

For the record, “opinions” are not the same as facts. They are “thoughts about facts,” not reporting of facts.” Please do not confuse the two.

I have a lot of issues with local and mainstream media, one of the primary ones is they don’t appear able to think. There are 114 recognized neighborhoods in L.A.’s 469 square miles and on only one corner of one neighborhood are there protests.
