Writer, artist, dad, husband, creative nerd, d&d fanboy.
Just finished the movie Opus from A24. I enjoyed it. Something different with a very neat twist at the end.

I love that my snowball stand has a shark week themed snowball. For those not familiar snowballs it’s basically crushed ice and flavor syrup mixed together. There is also the snowball parfait, which is what I described above with layers of liquid marshmallow mixed in.

From Black Sabbath to today, so many #Ozzy songs spoke to me. The voice of the outsider, the wanderer, struggling to make sense of the world, regretting, fighting against demons.

His songs brought joy, reflection, and some painful memories. My life was & is better with his art in it.

Raymond Chandler (1888-1959) writer of hard-boiled detective fiction.

"Any man who can write a page of living prose adds something to our life, and..is surely the last to resent someone who can do it even better. An artist cannot deny art, nor would he want to."

As a writer, and struggling reader, I make reading is a habit. I really treasure books that I enjoy. Here's one of those books that I picked up at #Stokercon2025 from Andrew Katz. Check out: Vampire Gideon's Suicide Hotline.

Enjoying it very much. Hits hard in dialog between Gideon & the callers.

Hanging out in #nyc this week for a bit before a stop in #philly and then back home. Getting tons of writing done. Almost done 13, and a few shorts like The Hunger, and Jessica Can’t Take A Joke. Fun times!

Here are some #Cthulhu stuffies to brighten your day.

Yeah this my writing vibe today. I’m in New York writing and was at an American Revolution museum yesterday. Perhaps it is the Hamilton musical in my soul too.

I grew up raging against the machine. No sense stopping now.

At the #ALA I saw this shirt and had to get a pic! I think I’d be banned but I’m still trying to make sure. 🩸📚💙

Hi everyone! I'm based in Maryland and focus on cosmic horror with a folk horror vibe (small towns, dark secrets/family secrets). I'm not a full time writer yet but growing into it. My day job is a techie and dad-cab getting my kids to wherever they need to be whenever they need to be there.
#HorrorWritersChat

Well hello hello and welcome to another Wednesday! I welcome you, horror writers, and all things dark.
I wanted to talk about what we sell our souls for today. When we don't write. Or maybe you earn your living writing. Tell me all!
Side hustles, raising hellions, it all counts.

Well, looks like I'm heading to #ALA2025 in Philly on Saturday! Anyone else gonna be there in my feed? Want to grab a bluesky connection coffee? It's like a regular coffee / tea but connecting with each other IRL instead of just bluesky.

Tonight's writing brought to you by MINISTRY! Specifically Psalm 69 and Just One Fix.

I also like to work in Focus > Immersive Reader mode on my mac. It helps me focus and not do this--posting / doomscrolling. Although I guess it isn't working so great right now.

Yep, we're doing this!
From my latest story: 13. I'm in early drafting and just want to jump ahead so "stuff happens".

Tim, do you write everything in order?
Well, usually. Sometimes I just like to get to the fun stuff.

Anyone else do this (sometimes)?

This makes my heart sing. I was telling a bunch of people about this at #stokercon and everyone was super fascinated by it. Keep living mas!
Oh my God!? We've been added to the Library of Congress. A literary magazine that I make for fun in my basement as my midlife crisis has been added to the historical record, called the uh, ahem, Taco Bell Quarterly. We are the most prestigious literary magazine of all time.

I love when authors post their playlist. I’ll need to do this with my next book…whenever that might come out 🫣
You can now listen to my playlist for The Bewitching: open.spotify.com/playlist/4IS...

One of the timelines is set in 1998 so it features many songs from the alternative music scene of that decade. 🎸

Out this July, order now.

I love me some cute #Spiderman figures! And even better it’s from one of the best movies ever made…yeah I said that and stand by it.

Across the Spiderverse is a masterpiece of cinema, storytelling, and soundtrack. it deserved the Oscar. Well, #Nimona was also amazing.

No I didn’t get a #switch2 but I did get this Super hat. When I wore it today everyone asked if I got a switch2. Sadly, no.

Do I want a Switch 2? Yes!

Why? Because Ninetendo is awesome. But I don’t know anything else about it.

This giant ring was the inspiration for the store in my book EXCESS BAGGAGE. This is from a jewelry store in Baltimore, MD. The layout and design of the store in my book is all based on this store…but to my knowledge no one got melted in the real store.

Anyone know this store? Tag them if you do!
