Opinions are my own.
There’s this story that during a triumph, as a victorious general paraded around Rome like a king, a slave would be with them to whisper “remember you will die” in their ear to try keep it from going to their heads.

Is that what’s happening with Geoff Keighley, the game awards, and the Muppets?

Finally! I played a very early version this at a conference a couple years ago and have been RAVING to my friends about “that train game w/t the jumping & the tricks… no I’m not crazy. It makes sense you grind the trains. A trailer? No it’s not revealed yet- it IS real, why would I make this up?”

The biggest hurdle for me is the lack of local journalists from my country on this app. It’s the primary reason I keep going back to check on twitter.

Met my dad for lunch, asked me: "who do you think is going to win?"
I made a show of taking a coin out of my wallet, "heads Harris, tails Trump"
I flipped the coin, Came up Harris
"Now ask me again"
Harris
"Again"
Harris
"Ok, that's not actually the point I wanted to make. I'll try again"
Harris

While it’s exciting to see so many game developers move over here, none of the local reporters I follow on twitter appear to have made the jump.

It's not right that it can be such a great year for games, and such a horrible year for game developers.

I think the dual protagonist thing was neat, but ultimately it was pretty obvious Peter was Spider-Man #1 and Miles was #2, which is a shame because I liked Miles' arc a lot more, and I generally had more fun playing as him than Peter.

Spider-Man 2 was a lovely bit of escapism.

I was surprised checking later that it took me about the same time to 100% it as it took me to 100% all of the original game + DLC.

Felt like it went by much faster than the original.
