A counter argument: libraries are safe spaces that do not charge you money to be there. Librarians help those without access to the web to apply for jobs and housing, provide access to accurate information without payment, including physical or e- or audiobooks.
Libraries in their current form are outdated. The need for physical media is unnecessary and a waste of or real estate

Humble proposal: let’s get congress to setup an AI regulatory body (USAI) and move @GaryGensler there. His skills would be very useful in that space.
