While many Americans have spent the last 40 years striving to build a more perfect union, groups like the Federalist Society, the Heritage Foundation, and the GOP have been systematically working to erode our representative democracy in pursuit of consolidating power under a unitary executive.

Leave it to the Trump administration to ruin what use to be guaranteed good summer vibes.

The Republican Party, influenced by the legacy of Ayn Rand’s ideals, abandoned any pretense of stewardship. Instead of improving what remained, they looked around, declared it already good enough—and decided to take everything for themselves.

There needs to be an uprising in the U.S. that brings us all together to demand our personal information be protected and not used for anything without our consent. What the current administration is working with Palantir to do with our personal information will be the end of us as a free people.

The SCOTUS gave the executive unlimited power knowing that the democrats would never abuse it. Our next nominee for president must declare they are willing to use the power the court has given them. We have to make the SCOTUS, the heritage foundation and the oligarchs rethink that calculation.
