A little ode to David Lynch.
Know your cultural history. For starters, before David Lynch, there was Jean-Luc Godard who was oddly surreal in his own manner. I never really thought about it before today, but their work connects at times very strongly with one another. People never seem to note that about Godard.

I always am disappointed in the way we deify artists we are fond of when they die--like David Bowie and David Lynch. We stop treating them fellow humans. Everything either produced was not a masterpiece and they would be the first to point that out.
