Took us almost 20 sessions of #CoS to experience our first character death 💔 He died in a fight with the devil himself, so not a shameful way to go even if it hurts. But damn what a campaign this is and continues to be, simply love it

Finished the American Rapture by CJ Leede recently and it has to be my favourite literature piece in a while. Really special mix of dystopian chaos, horror, gore, self doubt and growth, hope and desperation as well as collision of different values and worldviews. Just brilliant overall 📚

Started to read a legendary Finnish fantasy comic Praedor yesterday and I'm aching to come up with some dystopian mystery inspired campaign. If only my pink udon clump would calm down and concentrate enough to start writing a plotline 🧠

Market led by investor profit expectations is truly ruining a lot of good shit that people genuinely enjoy. Seems that currently anything else than an instant mega-hit is considered a failure and a let down even if it's well perceived. Be it games, movies, series, books or anything 😔

Every time I start a new game, I have a pep-talk with myself, trying to convince myself that I do NOT need to sweep every locker and corner in every single title I play. And still I somehow end up doing basically that 😮💨 30h playtime? How about triple that because there might be an item I'll not use

I already grieve that our Lands of Barovia (CoS) campaign will be going for couple months of hiatus after next week, the whole party seems incredibly immersed and as our DM said last time, we have managed to unlock so many side quests already it's almost impressive

My second group finished valentine's oneshot yesterday and as expected, they took me by surprise. Instead of fighting the bbeg, they sympathised with her yearning to eat human hearts and were suggesting that would she be willing to settle for legal organ donors 🫀🫰

My two groups have acted so differently in the valentine's oneshot. First group was super immersed in RP, but somehow very good at following the storyline. Second group started powering through the plot just to run into a wall, forgetting any clues they got and getting themselves in future trouble ⚖️

Yesterday I ran my valentine's dnd oneshot to the first group, and as always the party ended up solving the story in the most unexpected way. As a DM I couldn't be happier and I will miss all the characters with an aching heart 💜 best hobby in the world

It's funny how time flies when you have adrenaline pumping in your veins and having an awesome time. Took part in a dnd oneshot yesterday that accidentally stretched to be 11h long. Not a minute too much ☝️
