I saw advice to buy extra cans of food when you’re at the grocery store to donate to the food bank.
I want to politely nudge you to give the money directly to food banks (or to mutual aid groups if you know of any).

#showmeyourknits wips week. Cast on mini unicorn sweater. I didn't like the way the rainbow was looking so ripped out for something bolder. I also swore the MC was magenta with more pink but in low light it's a dark maroon- hope that will work for the intended pink/ purple fiend. #knitting 🧶

#crochet #crochetsky I've gotten myself into something I very much cant handle. About 70 granny squares, different patterns, sizes and scraps with none of the ends sewn in. I thought this could be a blanket, overwhelmed. Can anyone offer a strategy to get this to a doable state? 🧶

#showmeyourknits, thickest yarn I ever used: save the drama llama pattern, unicorn hat adapted to use more loop stitch, and Murano hat all made with knitpicks bulky, mostly brava. I still really love the llama, had to put chopsticks in his neck to support the weight #knitting #knitsky 🧶

So close to being done with this modular cardigan coat, have used up 13 colors of scalp wool and made a dent in 8-ism more. Just the bottom to finish off with I cord, some ends, and a steaming to make everything nice #scrapalong2025 #knitting #knitsky 🧶

I have knit socks 3 1/2 times. House socks when I first started knitting, not quite one sock afterwards, and socks are a no thank you for me. The patterns from #lattesandllamas geekalongs are the only ones I have deigned to break my sock avoidance, they are too clever #showmeyourknits 🧶 #knitting

Applied I cord-- Google tells me I need 15x the length to finish the modular cardigan coat. Anyone know how accurate that is? I know I could I cord a swatch but, ugh...pictures of coat panels in progress for tax. 🧶 #knitsky #knitting #scrapalong2025

#showmeyourknits I love lace. Learned lace knitting in 2020 to challenge myself and it's the step that pushed me from casual knitter (a few projects a year, loveys and accessories) into a full-time always-something knitting knitter. Last lace project, details in alt text #knitsky 🧶
